- אוּכַּיְיפָאm. (כוף) bending, suppression. Esth. R. to I, 1b> (ref. to Lam. 3:13 בני אשפתו, the quotation being omitted by clerical error), (read) ר׳ ברכי׳ ורבנןר׳ בני. ברכי׳ אמר בני אוּכַּיְיפֵיה ורבנן אמריוכ׳אמורייה אוכייפיה שהיו מרוצין וכ׳ Bne Ashpatho means ‘the children of his pressure , v. אֲמוּרְיָא.
